M.Y. SCLPTURE WEB DESIGN

May Yeung is a Hong Kong based sculptor , an interdisciplinary artist , and also the director of. HKNLversations director. A graduate of the University of Chicago majoring in visual arts and political science, May Yeung specializes in sculpture. She is the one and only Asian till now to have had public exhibitions at Chicago Union Station, Rockefeller Memorial Chapel, and Harper Memorial Library, showcasing her public art works – Citation, What If… and # . (2010 – 2012). May Yeung has approached DIP MAD to design her website.

To align with the branding system which designed by us, the main colour of the website with all the visuals is tuned into a monotone of teal colour. The colour is a personal picked favourite colour from the artist, which represents her love to the nature and the sea. The organic movement of the images in the interface design is inspired by the characteristic of artist’s work. For buttoning's design, we have adopted a dynamic motion of color block when scrolled over to emphasize the theme color.
