GADDI'S MENU

Located in the landmark of Hong Kong, The Peninsula Hotel, Gaddi’s has continually enticed diners with its superb, Michelin-starred French gastronomy and timeless glamour since 1953. The restaurant is famous at it’s opulent dining room, adorned with glittering crystal chandeliers and ornate mirrors provides an apt setting for Chef Albin Gobil’s haute cuisine and accompanying fine wines. Gaddi’s has approached DIP MAD to revamp their menu design.

We uncovered the core elements that were then developed into visual metaphors. As the restaurant is famous at it’s opulent dining room, adorned with glittering crystal chandeliers and Chinoiserie interior with a touch of French dining atmosphere, the main visual contains the crystal chandelier built in 3D modelling, and also the boarder of Chinoiserie interior as the cover of the menu. To identify the categories of the menu, we designed 5 icons combining the Chinoiserie elements and the chandelier detail of the restaurant. The final result is an elegant and classic menu with a modernized touch.
