MARKS & SPENCER 2024 RED POCKET

Marks and Spencer (M&S) is a major British multinational retailer that specialises in selling clothing, beauty products, home products and food products. M&S has approached DIP MAD to design their red pocket for 2024 Chinese New Year marketing campaign with a theme of innovated CNY ideas immerged with M&S’s brand core value.

As the company is famous at its traditional English aesthetics adopted with modern lifestyle, the main visual contains a typography design using 2 different types to express the theme. Our choice of types are Gill Sans & AWConqueror Std Didot, which is a contrast of the characteristic that echoes the 2 core value of the brand. For the 2nd design, we adopted client’s provided dragon inspired image from UK, and made it a foiled crossed totem pattern.
