HKUST - RISK MANAGEMENT AND BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE
Our client, the HKUST's innovative BSc degree program in Risk Management and Business Intelligence (RMBI), has approached DIP MAD to design the packaging of their tote bag souvenir.
The logomark is built from their original grid, forming the impression of the program initials through different widths and paths. The result is a balanced and minimalist logomark that frames the program’s name. The logotype is designed to translate concepts of intelligence, fine and the program’s modern approach. For the key visual, we have used positive and negative space of abstracted blocks to metaphor shadows of columns. Within the shadows the wording RMBI is revealed, and yet the result is contemporary & artistic. This has elevated the image of the degree program to a more outstanding state.
