PLACEBO
Placebo is a Hong Kong based fashion footwear brand since 2012 founded by Oscar Yuen. He approached DIP MAD to create a 3D art icon for the launch of their new collection.
To create a contemporary way of promotion effect without photography of footwear, our approach is to create a simple but strong animated icon catching the trend of digital contemporary art x fashion.
3D ANIMATION
The rolling pill 3D animation contains the iconic logotype of the pill shape O. The circular motion represents the psychedelic effect from the pill itself. The animation emphasise the two tone colour transforming ombre effect.
